ShiftGate Automotive Auctions
As the Creative & Technical Director at ShiftGate, my goal was to create a world-class classic and collector car auction platform that truly resonates with the auto enthusiasts of North America.

To achieve this, I started by conducting a comprehensive audit of the online auction landscape, analyzing competitors and their technologies to better position the ShiftGate brand in this fast-growing space. This research helped me create brand guidelines that would accurately reflect the ethos of ShiftGate and a user interface and experience that caters to the unique needs of enthusiast buyers & seller.

I also played a critical role in the operational flow and technology architecture of the platform, ensuring that the development team had all the tools and processes necessary to create a seamless and efficient auction platform. As the lead of the development team, I oversaw the custom platform build, along with various ongoing product updates and new business unit initiatives.

Furthermore, I worked closely with ShiftGate's digital agency to track and assess user flow and analytics, using A/B testing to optimize the platform and ensure it was always providing the best possible experience to visitors.
